So many things have happened in the past year of moving to our farm. We've learned a lot about husbandry, and the time/effort it requires. We've learned equally as much about soil management, and all the things we need to do to boost the microbiology and health of this dirt we have here in the Cuyahoga Falls area. Watersheds, ravines, riparian lines, flooding, MUD, seeding, runoff, erosion and more. It's a good thing we have always enjoyed learning!
After speaking with many locally, we have come to see that there is a large interest in sheep for meat production. We have 6 registered shetland ewes and a ram to keep company. Once bred, we will be offering the lambs for meat in 2023. More details to follow.
We also have started our alpaca breeding program and have multiple crias due in 2023. Looking forward to what they will bring us! You can see more on our Instagram page.
