Progress

In 2019, we embarked on a transformative journey with the purchase of 47 acres of land, including 10 acres of ancient monocultured pasture and the remainder, untouched woodlands. Since then, our focus has been on revitalizing the soil through rigorous testing, strategic amendments, and the cultivation of beneficial crops. As of 2024, while significant progress has been made, the soil quality remains a work in progress, not yet reaching the optimal conditions required for our alpacas. Our timeline hinges on soil health and the quality of hay it yields, with the best outcome projected for 2025 and the worst-case scenario anticipated by 2027. Once the soil reaches its peak, we will proceed with the development of essential infrastructure including fencing, barns, sheds, and more to accommodate our alpaca herd.  Our journey is fueled by dedication and perseverance, ensuring that every step forward brings us closer to our vision. Despite the challenges, we remain steadfast in our commitment to excellence. When our soil reaches its full potential, it will lay the foundation for the exceptional quality of alpacas we are committed to produce.
